Leading Mexican newspapers ContraReplica and Valija Diplomática published articles entitled "Shusha - a symbol of freedom of Azerbaijan" and "Karabakh is Azerbaijan-the land of fire," about the impressions of the visit of well-known Mexican journalist Federico Lamont to our liberated territories.

Report informs, citing the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Mexico, the journalist visiting Jabrayil, Fizuli, Ganja, Aghdam, and Shusha, first spoke about the military-strategic importance of Shusha, its historical, cultural, and symbolic significance for our country. He noted that the liberation of Shusha emerges as a symbol of restoring Azerbaijan's territorial integrity.

"During the 44-day war, Armenia targeted civilian Azerbaijanis and fired rockets to Ganja city, located far away from the military operations, killing dozens of civilians, including women and children, and injuring hundreds," the article states.

"The cities of Jabrayil and Aghdam have been subjected to exceptional Armenian vandalism, where residential infrastructure and historical and cultural monuments have been completely destroyed.

The article referring to the mass mining carried out by Armenia in our territories occupied for almost 30 years. "Since the ceasefire agreement reached on November 10 last year, hundreds of Azerbaijani military and civilian Azerbaijanis have been killed by landmines planted by the Armenian armed forces over the years. Azerbaijani media workers fell victim to these mines in the village of Susuzlug in the Kalbajar region in early June. Today, Armenia refuses to provide a map of the landmines, violating international humanitarian law, just as Armenia has been ignoring UN resolutions for nearly 30 years.
