The joint statement by the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan on Nagorno-Karabakh is the only way to overcome the crisis, and attempts to question it are unacceptable.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said following the Russian interdepartmental delegation visit to Armenia, Report informs, citing TASS.

"It was recognized by everyone that this statement is the only way to resolve the situation, which took on a very acute character a few weeks ago. The sides stressed that attempts to question this statement at home and abroad are unacceptable. And we confirmed our determination to do everything to ensure that this statement continues to work," the Minister said.

The Russian Foreign Minister also said that the main attention during the talks in Yerevan was paid to the tasks of clear and full implementation of the statement by Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on the cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.

"Prime Minister and the President of Armenia at their meetings with the Russian delegation in Yerevan confirmed their full commitment to the implementation of the Karabakh agreement," Lavrov added.
