Japan to provide humanitarian aid to Azerbaijan and Armenia

The Japanese government will provide $4.8 million in humanitarian aid to Azerbaijan and Armenia, Report informs, citing the Japanese Foreign Ministry.
$1.2 million of humanitarian aid will be provided to Azerbaijan, while $3.6 million to Armenia through the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The Azerbaijani government will spend funds on reconstructing hospitals, schools, and houses in the Karabakh region.
Japan will also assist the parties in the form of medical equipment.
