Hulusi Akar: Armenia should not view extended hand of peace as weakness sign

"Armenia should not regard the hand of peace extended to it as a sign of weakness," Report informs, citing Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar.

"Azerbaijan has extended a hand of peace to Armenia. This issue was also repeatedly raised by Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan. We hope that Armenia will not see this as a sign of weakness, and will not take a wrong step and accept the proposed peace," he said.

The minister stressed that he hopes that people will live in peace and tranquility.

"We hope that Armenia will accept peace proposed by Azerbaijan, and soon stability will be ensured in the region, peace and tranquility will come to the region."
