Head of NGO: Landmine explosion in Azerbaijan’s Tartar – terror attack

“The explosion of a landmine in Azerbaijan’s Tartar district is a terror attack, and in recent days we are increasingly confronted with these acts committed by Armenians,” Umud Mirzeyev, president of the International Eurasia Press Foundation, told reporters when commenting on a mine explosion in Tartar, Report’s Karabakh bureau informs.

He reminded that three people were killed as a result of the April 28 mine explosion: “The details of the incident are terrifying. These territories have been contaminated with mines more than others over a 30-year period. A similar problem is observed in all territories along the former line of contact.”

Mirzeyev noted that over the past ten days there have been three incidents in connection with landmines.
