Foreign media reps say Khankandi-Lachin road open for humanitarian vehicles

British correspondent Aleksandar Eror and Serbian photographer Nemanja Knezevic, who are in Shusha, having viewed the protests against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan on the Khankandi-Lachin road, stated that the road is open for humanitarian purposes, Report informs.

The foreign media representatives were briefed about the demonstration, its goals and the demands of the environmental activists.

They were informed that the road was open for humanitarian purposes and that a blockade was out of the question. The journalists were also told about the large-scale reconstruction and restoration work in Shusha and other liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

Representatives of foreign media visited historical places in Shusha and witnessed traces of Armenian vandalism committed in the city during the occupation period.
