Expert: Results of Karabakh war open up opportunities for cooperation

“The results of the Second Karabakh War open up new opportunities for cooperation. Azerbaijan is an important transit link,” a senior researcher at the Center for Post-Soviet Studies of the National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations under the Russian Academy of Sciences, Candidate of Historical Sciences Stanislav Pritchin told Report commenting on the trilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan, Russia and Iran.

According to Pritchin, at the moment, this cooperation between the countries is thriving.

“There are large-scale projects that are being implemented within the framework of trilateral cooperation, for example, the North-South transport route. Today, Azerbaijan is investing huge efforts in developing the infrastructure of the liberated territories, which creates serious prospects for investment because the transport and energy infrastructure has been formed," he said.
