EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar has welcomed Azerbaijan's extradition of 10 more Armenian detainees at the initiative of the EU, Report informs.
Toivo Klaar tweeted that he was happy to be able to repatriate 10 Armenian servicemen.
He called Azerbaijan's move an important gesture in the process of addressing humanitarian issues.
The European Union will continue to work with both countries to build on the successful meetings of the European Council President Charles Michel, with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, he added.
