Envoy: Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan seek to further expand ties

Saudi Arabia’s support for demining work carried out by Azerbaijan in the liberated territories is another indicator of the strong relationship and high level of cooperation between the two countries, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Essam bin Saleh Al-Jutaili told journalists, Report informs.

“We strive to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in many areas - healthcare, science, culture, etc. I ask the mercy of the Almighty that the Azerbaijani people completely get rid of the mine threat and the territories are completely cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance,” he said.

The ambassador emphasized that at the moment, projects are expected between the two countries in many areas, which will be implemented soon.

“I hope that 2024 will be a good year for the two countries,” he added.
