Armenian colonel admits they planted large number of mines in Lachin, Kalbajar

Armenian Colonel Koryun Ghumashyan has openly admitted that they have planted a large number of mines in the Lachin and Kalbajar districts, thereby demonstrating the entire terrorist nature of Armenia, Report informs.

A fragment of his TV interview appeared on Twitter.

“My contingent and I have placed 17 trucks of mines near Lachin and Kelbajar, you will not be able to mine in the area due to the mines. Return us our POWs and I will submit the map of the landmines,” Ghumashyan said in an Armenian TV program.

At about 11.00 am on June 4, 2021, a van with film crews dispatched to the de-occupied Kalbajar region to perform their official duties was hit by an anti-tank mine while driving to the Susuzlug village. Three people, including Siraj Abishov (cameraman of AzTV), Maharram Ibrahimov (employee of AzerTaj news agency), Arif Aliyev (deputy representative of the head of the Executive Power in the Susuzlug village), died, and four others were hospitalized with various injuries.
