Area with biggest number of Armenian-planted mines revealed

The territory of Azerbaijan, where the biggest number mines were buried during the occupation of Armenia, has been announced.

The Lele Tepe hill, which was liberated in the April battles, and Jabrayil's Mehdili village located in this direction, are the Azerbaijani territories most polluted by the Armenians, Azer Huseynov, the supervisor of cleaning group No. 3 of the ANAMA, told Report.

"During the April victory of the Azerbaijani Army, Armenians dug trenches and established posts in Mehdili village of Jabrayil after liberating Lele Tepe hill from occupation. The areas around Lele Tepe hill and Mehdili villages are where the Armenian invaders buried the biggest number of mines. More anti-personnel mines are planted here. Mines and unexploded ammunition planted after the April battles are mostly found here."

ANAMA official added that there are very big dangers in the visible areas:

"After being completely liberated from the occupation during the Patriotic War, our cleaning team tirelessly began to clear our territories of mines, which are the 'invisible enemy'. We continue the cleaning work more efficiently and effectively."
