Ambassador: EU preparing next package of aid to assist Azerbaijan's demining efforts

The European Union will continue to support Azerbaijan in demining liberated territories, and the next demining assistance package is currently being prepared, the head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Peter Michalko said at a press conference, Report informs.

“We support ANAMA demining activities through UNDP. The current aid package is 2.5 million euros. ANAMA is making great efforts to eliminate the danger of mines, and Azerbaijan is facing a very big task. We are working on the preparation of the next aid package, and we will continue to support Azerbaijan in this matter,” the EU ambassador said.
