Al-Tuwaijri: International organizations should contribute to restoration of liberated areas

International organizations should contribute to the restoration of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, former ISESCO Director-General Dr. Abdulaziz bin Osman Al-Tuwaijri told Report.

He said he had been to Shusha and many places in Karabakh and saw all these ruins with his own eyes.

Osman Al-Tuwaijri said he does not understand why the international community didn't do anything to stop it.

According to him, unfortunately, the world community exercises a selective approach in treating such crimes.

It notices some immediately, while keeping a blind eye to others for many years, he noted.

Al-Tuwaijri emphasized that international organizations such as UNESCO, UNDP, and UNICEF should help Azerbaijan:

Azerbaijan has always provided assistance to these organizations, Al-Tuwaijri said, adding that the country is an active member of these organizations.

Now is the time to repay the debt and help restore the liberated areas of this country, he said.
