These microorganisms reduce development of cancer

Shiitake mushrooms help reduce the risk of developing oncological diseases, said Alexander Khrenov, editor-in-chief of the Mushroom Growing School magazine.

He noted that these mushrooms have strong immunomodulatory properties, so the Japanese use them to create anti-cancer drugs.

Khrenov added that this effect of Shiitake exceeds similar features found in other mushrooms.

Andrei Kaprin, the chief oncologist of the Russian Ministry of Health, also identified the main "enemy" of cancer.

According to him, early diagnosis allows quick detection of the disease, so full recovery increases. The healthcare specialist advised consulting a doctor immediately in case of health complaints.

These mushrooms, like the ancient species, are distinguished by their wonderful taste and healing properties. In some countries, Shiitake is considered a snack and is highly valued not only in cooking but also in medicine and cosmetology for its pleasant flavor and aroma.

These fungi also lower blood cholesterol and sugar levels. Medical experts and health ministries in China, Vietnam, South Korea, and other countries consider Shiitake to be the official anti-cancer drug.
