Baku. 27 November. REPORT.AZ/ The contestant from South African Republic (SAR) Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters won the 2017 edition of the Miss Universe pageant taking place in Las Vegas.
Report informs, Nel-Peters was awarded with prestigious crown among 91 participants representing different countries across the world. The runner-up was Miss Colombia Laura Gonzalez. The second runner-up was Miss Jamaica Davina Bennett.
The last time South African representative won this contest in 1978.
