NASA: Organic material found on Mars

Baku. 8 June. REPORT.AZ/  US Curiosity rover has found new evidence preserved Gale crater rocks on Mars.

Report informs, the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has reported it.

It was noted that Curiosty has been conducting researches in Mars since 2012. As a result of  research on the Gale Crater, a 3.5 billion-year-old rock has been discovered. Scientists say that these new findings, can be viewed as ancient life on the red planet, the source of food for live or the existence of another life.

“Finding ancient organic molecules in the top five centimeters of rock that was deposited when Mars may have been habitable, bodes well for us to learn the story of organic molecules on Mars with future missions that will drill deeper”,  Ashwin Vasavada, collaborator of NASA's California Laboratory says.

Laser spectrometer is used to measure methane in the atmosphere of Mars. Seasonally increasing in the level of methane on the planet has also been confirmed.

Examples allow the possibility of ancient micro-grains on Mars.
