Volume of cargo to be transported through Azerbaijani part of TRACECA this year announced

In January-March of this year, the volume of cargo transported through the Azerbaijani part of the Transport Corridor Europe Caucasus Asia (TRACECA) amounted to 4 million tons, Rufat Bayramov, the national secretary of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission for Azerbaijan, told Report.

According to him, this is about 20% more than the corresponding period in 2023.

“By the end of the year, it is expected that the volume of cargo transportation through the Azerbaijani part of TRACECA will reach 16 million tons,” he said.
