Baku. 20 April. REPORT.AZ/ Ukraine and Iran agreed to sent test train in order to organize transportation of agricultural products.
Report informs citing the Ukrainian media, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Vladimir Omelyan said at a meeting with an Iranian delegation.
According to him, the train route will pass through the territory of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
"Ukraine-Iran test train may be sent this summer. This is a promising area of cooperation for both countries. Ukraine should develop new international transport corridors in order to become a reliable transit between the countries of Europe, Asia and the East", the minister said.
In his appeal to Iran, V.Omelyan called to consider the possibilities to transport the country's oil to Ukraine as well as to construct oil refinery in Ukraine.
The sides discussed cooperation in the field of maritime and road transport, as well as strengthening cooperation in the field of aviation.
