Georgia can play a special role for Europe in terms of a transport corridor and energy connectivity between East and West, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters at the IV Summit of the European Political Community (EPC) in Oxford, Report informs referring to Georgian media.
According to the prime minister, a number of projects are being implemented in Georgia that will strengthen the country’s transit function.
“Even today we have a number of ongoing projects that will strengthen our transit function, including the development of our function within the Middle Corridor initiative, which will be very interesting for Europe, in particular, for the Black Sea region,” he noted.
He added that the Georgian delegation will discuss specific projects with European partners.
