Ministry official: Nine out of 13 planned motor roads under construction in Karabakh

Work to build and reconstruct nine motor roads out of the planned 13 has begun in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. Mobilization work is carried out on the same project, Aida Badalova, an Advisor to Minister of Digital Development and Transport, said, as quoted by Report.

"During his interview with local TV channels, President Ilham Aliyev paid special attention to constructing roads in the liberated territories, including the road tunnels Goygol-Kalbajar, Kalbajar-Lachin, motor roads Barda-Aghdam, Talysh-Tapqaraqoyunlu-Gashalti-Naftalan. He stressed the importance of these projects both in strategic terms and in terms of tourism," the advisor said.
