Master plans of four cities of Karabakh under development, committee chair says

The State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture is working on the Master Plan of four cities of the Karabakh Economic Region, Committee Chairman Anar Guliyev said at the forum on the occasion of the World Habitat Day, according to Report.

"Our routine work covers 79 cities and over 4,000 settlements and villages of Azerbaijan in terms of urban planning. During a relatively short period of time - over the past 20 years, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, we have already developed new master plans for 56 cities and 12 more cities are at the stage of final approval at the moment. We are currently working on new master plans of the remaining seven cities, work is underway on the master plans of four more cities in Karabakh," he said.
