Karseladze: Construction of 4-km part of highway between Georgia and Azerbaijan completed

Within the framework of the construction of a new highway in the direction of Tbilisi-Sagareko (Kakheti), the construction of the 4-kilometer Vaziani road has been completed, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Irakli Karseladze, said, Report informs referring to the local press.

According to him, the road is part of the transit corridor connecting Georgia with the north-western region of Azerbaijan. "The first 4-kilometer section of the Kakheti highway has already been opened for vehicles. This is proof of the important progress in the construction of the Kakheti highway."
