Tbilisi. 13 April. REPORT.AZ/ "Today, the One Belt, One Road initiative, which is in the focus of many countries, is of great importance to us. I think that this project will benefit all participating countries, as well as other stakeholders.

First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitri Kumsishvili told the Georgia bureau of Report News Agency.

The minister said that a number of important projects are being implemented in the South Caucasus region today.

Developed and other leading states in the world believe in the future of these projects. Those states see the importance of the One Belt, One Road initiative. They also believe that this initiative will contribute to the development of regional cooperation, infrastructure and transport links between countries.

One Belt, One Road initiative will provide new opportunities for all participants in terms of creating new jobs, business and social wellbeing. This initiative, which requires huge investments, will simplify customs procedures along with the approximation of legislation”, Kumsishvili said.
