Dates of World Urban Planning Forum to be held in Baku confirmed

The World Urban Development Forum (WUF13) will be held in Baku on May 18-22, 2026, Chairman of Azerbaijan's State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee, Anar Guliyev, said during a meeting with the Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), Anaclaudia Rossbach, Report informs.
The meeting discussed the significant progress of the cooperation between UN-Habitat and Azerbaijan, which resulted in the creation of a platform supporting the development of sustainable cities in the region, starting with the 1st and 2nd Azerbaijan National Urban Planning Forums organized in 2022 and 2023. Views were exchanged about initiatives and future goals in sustainable urban planning.
