Construction of railway and bus station complex gets underway in Aghdam

Construction of a railway and bus station complex has begun in Agdam, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways (AZD) CJSC Rovshan Rustamov told journalists, according to Report.

He noted that most of the project for the construction of the Barda-Aghdam railway line has already been completed.

"In general, the project has been completed by 85%. The construction of the terminal stations Tazakand, Barda, Kochari is currently underway," Rustamov said.

He noted that 45% of the work on the Horadiz-Aghband project has been completed.

"The project is being implemented at an accelerated pace, its completion is scheduled for 2025," he said.
