Construction of Horadiz–Aghband railway planned for completion in 2026

The construction of the Horadiz–Aghband railway is expected to be fully completed in 2026, Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, Head of the Public Relations Department of Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), told journalists in Zangilan.

According to Report"s correspondent in Zangilan, he noted that as part of the implementation of the Zangazur Corridor ("Trump Route"), Azerbaijan is carrying out construction of the Horadiz–Aghband railway. Design work for the railway line has been completed by 84%, while construction and installation work has reached 67%.
