Aghdam-Fuzuli highway in Azerbaijan to be ready this year

The construction of the Aghdam-Fuzuli highway in Azerbaijan is expected to be completed this year, Akif Aygen, deputy chairman of the board of the Turkish company Proyapi, which carries out construction work in the liberated territories, told Report.

The highway, which will be 64.8 km long and 15 meters wide, is being built with four lanes. The width of the road shoulders is 3.75 meters in each direction, the width of the separating lane is two meters, and the width of the roadbed is 26.5 meters.

The Aghdam-Fuzuli highway, which is a continuation of the Barda-Aghdam highway, passes through the territory of Aghdam, Aghjabadi and Fuzuli districts. The construction of the road will ensure comfortable travel from Barda to Aghdam and Fuzuli, as well as in the opposite direction.
