Committee chairman: Master plan of Baku is modeled after Vienna and Dubai

The master plan of Baku is modeled after the cities of Vienna and Dubai, Report informs, Chairman of the State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee Anar Guliyev told journalists, Report informs.

According to him, Baku is becoming a more comfortable city for people: "But before, cars played more role in the city. We took Vienna and Dubai for comparison. We know that a serious infrastructure for pedestrian traffic is being created in Dubai. Vienna is a city that is easily accessible by public transport."

He noted that the Committee took Vienna as an exemplary target.
