Deputy Minister: The volume of cargo transportation from China to Europe under TITR should be increased

Ankara hosted a welcoming ceremony for the China Railway Express freight train, which is heading to Europe via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.

According to Report, Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Niyazi Safarov said at the ceremony that cooperation with these countries in the field of transport and transit will expand.

The deputy minister noted that cooperation should be continued in order to increase the volume of cargo transportation from China to Europe via the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

Freight train China Railway Express, which follows from Chinese Xian, reached Ankara on November 6, then it will follow to Prague through the Marmaray tunnel.
