Bicycle transport network to be created in Baku

The total length of the network of bicycle lanes/roads in Baku will be about 285 km by 2040, Report informs citing the Baku General Masterplan until 2040.
The Masterplan provides for:
The completion of missing sections of bike paths along highways between parks, sports fields and similar central areas:
- creation of a bicycle network consisting of three main ring networks;
- creation of a functional and accessible cycling network (attractive to various user groups);
- increasing the length/number of bicycle paths along highways (informing cyclists).
