Azerbaijan, Iran to finance creation of new transport communications to Nakhchivan

All expenses for the preparation of project documentation, construction and control over the construction of a road bridge connecting the East Zangazur economic region with Iran, as well as communication and energy lines will be paid by Azerbaijan, Report informs.

Iran will pay for the preparation of project documentation, construction and construction control of the road bridge, which will connect Iran with the Ordubad region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

For the design and construction of bridges, a joint working group will be created, consisting of representatives of the relevant structures.

Proposals for financing and paying for the railway, which will be built parallel to the motorway, will be prepared and submitted to the governments of the parties within six months.
