Nearly $12M invested in industrial parks in Aghdam and Jabrayil

So far, more than 20 million manats ($11.76 million) have been invested in Araz Valley Economic Zone industrial parks in the Aghdam and Jabrayil districts, Elshad Nuriyev, chairman of the Board of the Economic Zones Development Agency, told Report.

"About 12 million manats ($7.05 million) were invested in the Aghdam Industrial Park. The park has 19 residents and 6 non-residents. These investors plan to invest more than 176 million manats ($103.53 million) in the Park and create more than 1,600 permanent jobs. The first enterprise, which is under construction in the park, is expected to start operating next year.

About 10 million manats ($5.88 million) have been invested in the Araz Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park, which covers an area of 200 hectares. The park has 5 residents and 1 non-resident. These investors want to invest about 33 million manats ($19.41 million) in the Park and create more than 420 permanent jobs. One of the residents - Auto Leasing Azerbaijan LLC has already started its activities,” he said.
