Azerbaijan to export locally produced Iveco trucks to neighboring countries

Azerbaijan is set to expand its automotive industry with the export of locally produced Iveco trucks to Russia, Georgia, Iran, and Turkmenistan.
Samir Ibadullayev, the founder of Az-Tex-Import LLC and a resident of the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, told Report that the construction of the manufacturing facility, which will produce 100 units of light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks annually, is nearing completion.
"In the coming months, we will begin installing the equipment at the plant," Ibadullayev stated. The investment value of the enterprise, which will provide permanent employment for 90 people, amounts to 19.2 million manats, with 6 million manats already spent.
