Azerbaijan to create carpet collection ‘Zafar’

The selection stage of the competition announced by Azerkhalcha OJSC for the creation of the Zafar (Victory) collection has ended, spokesperson for the OJSC Khatuna Abdullayeva told the journalists, Report informs.

She said that only 14 people from among those who applied for participation in the competition got a chance to become participants in the trainings, which will last one month.

“Young participants will undergo two-stage trainings, including theory and practice. They will be conducted by domestic and foreign specialists. Together with the winners, the carpet collection ‘Zafar’ will be produced. Among the specialists, there are such well-known domestic and foreign artists as Eldar Mikayilzade, Shirin Malikova, Chingiz Babayev, Mammadhuseyn Huseynov, professor Karim Mirzeyev, Ali Nasir," she said.
