Azerbaijan sees 2.7-fold hike in agro-industrial exports in January

In January 2023, Azerbaijan’s agricultural exports showed a 2.7-fold year-on-year increase in monetary terms, Report informs, citing the Export Review of the country’s Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.

Agricultural exports make up a significant part of Azerbaijan’s non-oil and gas exports.

The statistical value of joint exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products reached $67.1 million.

The total export of Azerbaijan in January amounted to $1.9 billion, and the export of the non-oil sector reached $284.5 million.

The exports of the non-oil sector increased by 22.6% compared to the same period in 2022.
