From January through September this year, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field manufactured products worth 64.1 billion manats ($37.7 billion), down 0.6% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, production in the oil sector fell by 1.9%, and the non-oil and gas sector increased by 7.2%.
Some 75.8% of industrial products were in the mining sector, 20.4% in the processing sector, 3.2% in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, and 0.6% in the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector.
Commercial oil production in the mining sector decreased by 5.4%, while marketable gas production rose by 9.8%.
The production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and the steam sector grew by 3.8%, and the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector ascended by 5.5%.
