Azerbaijan more than doubles tractor production 

In 2021, Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers, other vehicles worth 430.7 million manats, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the committee, compared to the previous year, the production of cars, trailers, and semi-trailers increased by 21.3%, machinery and equipment – by 9.1%, and other vehicles dropped by 92.6%.

In the reporting period, 2,043 cars were produced in Azerbaijan, a growth of 93 vehicles or 4.8% more from a year ago. As of January 1, 2022, the country has stocked 340 finished products.

In 2021, Azerbaijan produced 651 tractors, 2.2 times more than in 2020. As a result, the country had 53 finished products as of January 1, 2022.
