Azerbaijan gets more than 8% rise in beverage production

Azerbaijan produced 4,109,100 dekaliters of beverage in January-February 2022, up 8.3% from a year earlier, Report informs, with reference to the State Statistical Committee (SSC).
In the reporting period, the vodka production made up 174,500 dekaliters (29.6% less than a year ago), whiskey-cognac production dropped 29.2% to 3,100 dekaliters, grape wine production stood at 125,200 dekaliters (up 3.1-fold from the previous year), beer production slipped 28.7% to 430,400 dekaliters, soft drinks production increased by 16.8% to 3,375,900 dekaliters.
As of March 1, the finished products on alcoholic drinks were 1,487,500 dekaliters, on soft drinks – 342,400 dekaliters, respectively, down 3.9% and 45.3% from the previous year.
