Azerbaijan boosts production of some dairy products in 1H2024

Azerbaijan produced just over 5,121 tons of cream and sour cream during the first six months of 2024, marking an increase of 20.5 percent from the corresponding period of the previous year, Report informs, referring to the country's State Statistical Committee.

Furthermore, Azerbaijan produced just over 27.229 tons of cheese and cottage cheese in the specified period, showing a 2.5% growth compared to the first half of 2023.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan did not have any stock of cream and sour cream. However, there were 16.8 tons of cheese and cottage cheese available.
