Some participants of international competition to be held in liberated territories arrive in Baku 

The Uzbek team has already arrived in Baku to participate in the President's Cup Regatta dedicated to the 99th anniversary of Azerbaijan's nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, Report informs.

The guests, who arrived in the Azerbaijani capital in the afternoon, were greeted with great enthusiasm at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

Representatives of the Azerbaijan Rowing and Canoe Federation greeted the Uzbek team and informed them about the competition. Then a group of volunteers presented unique gifts to the athletes.

Uzbekistan will compete with five athletes in the President's Cup. The competition will last two days. The regatta will start on May 6 in Sugovushan. On the first day, the winners in kayaking and canoeing will be determined. On May 7, the athletes will compete in academic rowing at the Kura Olympic Training and Sports Center in Mingachevir. The "President's Cup" will end with a 3D effect show and fireworks on the water dedicated to the life and work of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
