Six Azerbaijani Paralympic athletes have reached the final at the Baku Grand Slam dedicated to National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

Report informs that among them the gender distribution was equal.

In the decisive match, Shahana Hajiyeva (48 kg) will meet with Chinese Li Liqing.

Two Azerbaijani judokas - Sevda Valiyeva and Afag Sultanova (57 kg) will face in the final. In the 52 kg weight category, Sabina Abdullayeva and Basti Safarova competed each other in the bronze medal. Gulnar Garayova (48 kg) lost in the first bout.

Men's competition includes Vugar Shirinli (60 kg) against Romania's Florin Alexandru, Bayram Mustafayev (66 kg) against Giorgi Kalandia (Georgia) and Huseyn Rahimli (81 kg) against Uzbekistan's Davurkhom Karomatov in the final. Namiq Abbasli, 66 kg, will face Georgian athlete Giorgi Gamiashvili for the third place.

The Grand Prix ends on May 14.
