President's Cup-2025: Azerbaijani rowers win six more medals

Azerbaijani rowers have won six more medals at the President's Cup-2025 international tournament dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Report informs.

The competition concluded at the Kur Olympic Training and Sports Center in Mingachevir.

Among athletes born in 2009-2010, the pair of Ivan Vorobyanski/Huseyn Hasanov won silver in the 200-meter kayak race, while the duo of Vajib Babayev/Nuran Rahimli secured a bronze medal.

In the same event for those born in 2011-2012, the pair of Aziz Ahmadli/Kamal Taghiyev won silver, and the duo of Sanan Jafarzade/Tahir Movsumov claimed bronze.

Among those born in 2006-2007, the pair of Nurlan Pashayev/Jahangir Mammadli won a silver award in rowing.

Alimurad Hajizada, born in 2009-2010, became a gold medalist in the 1000-meter kayak race.

Azerbaijani representatives had previously won 8 medals (3 silver, 5 bronze).
