Penalty period of Azerbaijani female weightlifter ends

Baku. 11 June. REPORT.AZ/ Penalty period of Boyanka Kostova, the weightlifter of the Azerbaijani national team, has completed.

Report informs, that Bulgarian legionnaires can now participate in competitions. She was subjected to a two-year sentence on June 10, 2016, because the repeat analysis of the doping test in the London 2012 Summer Olympics was a positive result. Kostova was deprived of the fifth place in the London Olympics as turinabol and stanozolol were found in her organism.

The future career of the 25-year-old athlete who is currently in Bulgaria, depends on the readiness. She will be involved to the squad if his coaches are satisfied.
