Azerbaijani wrestlers win 4 medals of Golden Grand Prix

Baku. 12 June. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers won 4 medals of Golden Grand Prix named after Vakhtang Balavadze and Givi Kartozia in Georgian capital Tbilisi.

Report informs, 2 medals are gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze. Galib Aliyev (61 kg) and Alexander Gostiyev (86 kg) won gold, while Mirjalal Hasanzade, 57 kg, silver. All the 3 members of the national team competed with Georgians in final.

Bronze medal was taken by Joshgun Azimov, fighting at 65 kg weight category. He defeated teammate Teymur Mammadov in the crucial match.

Notably, international referee Vagif Zeynalli represented Azerbaijan in managing matches.
