Azerbaijani Para powerlifters win medals at World Championships

Two Azerbaijani powerlifters have taken four medals, including two golds at the Para Powerlifting World Championships 2023 held in Dubai, the UAE, Report informs, citing National Paralympic Committee.

Azerbaijan`s Talib Zeynalov (+107kg) secured two silver medals both in the individual and general weight categories, respectively, after lifting 160kg and 307kg.

Another athlete Leyla Karimova claimed two gold medals in the +86kg weight class after lifting 78kg (individual category) and a total of 595kg.
