Azerbaijani karatekas claim 7 medals at tournament in Russia

Azerbaijani karate fighters claimed 7 medals at the international competition held in Moscow, Russia, Report informs.

Asiman Gurbanli and Medina Sadygova climbed to the top of the podium at the Moscow Vselennaya tournament.

Rafiz Hasanov, who lost only in the final, won a silver medal.

Roman Heydarov (kata), Huseyn Mammadli, Nuran Rza-Zada and Abbas Dadashov finished the competition in third place.

331 karate fighters from 27 countries competed in the tournament.
