Azerbaijani judokas secure two gold medals at European Cup

The Azerbaijani national team claimed its first medal at the European Cup among young judokas in Athens, Greece.

According to Report, Maharram Imamverdiyev, weighing in at 81 kg, won a gold medal, after upsetting Ukraine's Stanislav Korchemliuk in the final.

In addition, Ruslan Nasirov (100 kg), Kanan Nasibov and Huseyn Mammadov (both +100 kg) reached the final. Nasibov and Mammadov will face each other in the decisive match for gold medal for Azerbaijan. Vugar Talibov (90 kg) will compete for bronze.
