Azerbaijani judokas prepared for the Grand Slam in Japan

The Azerbaijani national team had a training camp in Japan before the Grand Slam and other prestigious competitions in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Report informs that leading judokas have been participating in the training sessions for 3 weeks in Tokyo. They had trainings two times a day and fulfilled the tasks set by head coach Ruslan Mashurenko and coach Elkhan Mammadov.

In addition to Azerbaijani athletes, Japanese judokas also participated in the preparation process.

Notably, the Grand Slam tournament will be held in Baku on May 10. The three-day competition will be held at the Heydar Aliyev Sports Palace.
