Azerbaijan’s national team achieves historic victory at World Wrestling Championship

“Our national team has achieved a historic victory at the World Wrestling Championship held in Belgrade,” the Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, wrote on X, Report informs.

“For the first time, our Greco-Roman wrestlers, who secured 2 gold and 3 silver medals, have been crowned world champions in the team rating with a total of 120 points. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to our wrestlers and coaches and wish them continued success and accomplishments,” the minister said.
