Azad Rahimov meets with board members of Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Federation

Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov met with members of the Board of Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Federation.

Report informs that during the meeting, the Minister congratulated members of the Board on the establishment of the new organization.

Rahimov said that the establishment of such an organization was always crucial for the development of sports media. The Minister expressed his support for the establishment of a new organization, taking into account the constant requests of sports journalists to the ministry and wished success to the Federation in its activities.

The chairman of the Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Federation Gabil Mehdiyev, thanked Minister Azad Rahimov on behalf of sports journalists for their support in the establishment of the organization.

Presenting the board members, Mehdiyev said that the association had already held two meetings, made several decisions, as well as established relevant commissions.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Federation. The meeting also provided information on the Federation's action plan for 2020, and activities planned to be carried out jointly with other federations and sports organizations.
